This thread roll
holder is mounted on the cut off arm. It is used for a
short thread having a medium or fine pitch. It can be
used for knurling. The work is supported by the burring
spindle, then the roll or knurl passes over the work,
ahead of the cut off tool, which then parts the finished
piece from the bar. To install the holder, it should be
first clamped on the arm to get approximate position.
There are also adjustments for diameters and tapers.
Note: A special cam is required.
